Plaza Callao is a public space in the Spanish city of Madrid, located in the Sol neighborhood, within the Centro district. It is at the end of Calle del Carmen and divides the Calle Preciados into two sections, as well as marking the beginning of the third section of Gran Vía, which ends at Plaza de España. It’s a place full of history and atmosphere, both during the day and at night. There’s always something to see in Callao! Additionally, its strategic location at the end of Gran Vía and just a few meters from Puerta del Sol make Callao an essential stop on any itinerary through Madrid.
